Does anyone know a good book about creating websites?
Posted by: admin : Category: Managed Webhosting
Hello, I am looking for a book about how to create a website. This book should also explain how to do HTML, putting up music downloads, webhosting and all the rest of it. Does anybody know of a decent one? (i.e. not too complex for a keen beginner to understand)
Thanks
PS Please don't reply to me asking if you can make it for me, I would like to make and manage it myself.
Books can help you, but there are a lot of good websites out there, too.
Try www.w3schools.com — that's how I learned.

Years ago when I first got involved with website design, I bought the book
Title: “Computer Active, step by step, ‘Build your own Website’”
Publisher: “Prentice Hall”
Author “Davey Winder”
Nothing complicated, just tells you the basics
For a beginner it takes you through in plain English, I don’t think you could go worse!!
Try Amazon
